With the thousands of Thoughts constantly streaming into
Neemee, how do you stay organized? The answer lies in the gray rectangle at the
bottom of your screen when you are logged into Neemee.
This gray bar is the all encompassing tool to organize and collaborate through
Neemee. There are a few things you should know about it.
- The
triangle at the far left is to expand or collapse the size of the gray
bar.
- The folder icon with a green plus
sign allows you to quickly create a new collection. For example, if you
want to start a collection for all thoughts that relate to the economy. Simply
click this icon, name your collection, and create it.
- The file folder icon without a
green plus sign quickly takes you to a page displaying all of the
collections you are a member of.
So what is all of this extra gray space? When you are on a page showing your
collections (see #3 above), you can simply click on the collection icon, and
then drag and drop it into the gray area. You can load the entire gray
bar full of your favorite collections so anytime you see a thought you want to
add, you simply click on it and drag it to the collection at the bottom. This
makes for fast, fun, and easy thought browsing and collecting.
A few final thoughts:
- When you have the bar expanded and there are collections in it, the "t:#" and the "u:#" indicates how many thoughts are in the collection and how many users are a member of that collection.
- These collections will stay in the
gray area until you click the "x" in the top right to remove
them.
- In the picture you will notice we
are dragging the thought oatmeal toward the collection "Health
Food." Once over the collection, we will release it to add to the
collection. Other users can be added using the same method.
